JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! These signs tell us we're at the Hikari City Limits, but we still have about 15 minutes more to drive to arrive at the market.

Rocky shoreline along the sea. The waves are very rough today! I love this beautiful drive.

We didn't stop at McDonald's this morning, so our first stop is the unisex potty at the temple grounds. Nearby, this man was trimming a pine tree. Perfectly.

And large oranges are everywhere!

It's cold & windy here near the sea, but also a very bright clear day at Hikari market.
