Japan Adventure

Back upstairs in our 5th floor room, it's time to pack. Our room is tiny, but comfortable & efficient. The beds in Japanese hotels always have luxurious bedding with down comforters. See the pink sign to the right of the window?


Of course we couldn't read it, but it looks like it has a ladybug on it . . .


Outside - we can see how the sun has burned off the fog and brightened the colors on the hillside!


Oops, are those ladybugs on the ceiling? NOW I know what the sign meant! When we returned from dinner last night, our room was VERY hot, so we opened the window for some cool air. Although the window opened, there was no screen . . . (gomenasai - so sorry!)


Looking down into Tsuwano as a local train goes by. We never did see the steam train, but I think maybe it only runs on the weekends.
