JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! Not sure what the first one represents, but you can clearly see the green frog, and pink pig. These are humidifiers - how cute!

Notice that the man is pushing his (well-dressed, of course) doggie in his shopping cart that is lined - just for this purpose.

Large inflatable Santa in the Christmas department. Every year we are here in Japan, we see more and more Christmas decorations for sale.

These trees are made in spirals and come fully decorated & lit. Then you simply fold down to store in a box (below the tree) for next year. This reminds me of what our friend Ken used to wish for!

Driving on Hwy 188 approaching the Oshima Island Bridge. We haven't been over to Oshima Island for a while.
