Japan Adventure

We're starting with beer, soup, and salad (with corn).


And then beef steak (famous in this area of Kyushu), small baked potato, and fresh veggies (corn, carrots, bean sprouts & bean pods) all sizzling on this heated cast iron plate. Oishi! (delicious!)


As we leave the restauant, there's a balloon parade going by . . .


Not sure what they're celebrating, but they're having fun!


Sign at the ceiling says "No Outside Smoking and No Littering Zone" - a relatively new concept in Japan and I couldn't be happier . . .
