Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Las Vegas - and finally to SFO!

Our flight to from LV to SFO departs at 8:26, so we had to leave our casino hotel very early to arrive here before 7:00 AM. But when we arrived at the LV airport, we found out that our plane was running late. Oops! We have an afternoon connection from SFO to Osaka - will we make it?


We are told that although our flight has been delayed, we can make our connection, so we go to our gate to wait. and wait. and wait. At first, our flight was scheduled for 11 AM, but then it kept getting delayed, and there were no other flights available to get us to SFO on time.


Our flight-mates wait in line to try to make other connections, but we just sit and wait. After a while, we realize that we're NOT flying to Japan today, so we could just relax and wait for our plane to arrive. I would rather have spent the day with my grandchildren, but this isn't completely horrible . . .


And United kept posting updates for us . . .
