Attending the Alabama Theater!

Just a few days before we left Birmingham for our return trip back to Japan, we decided to find out what was playing at the fabulous Alabama Theater downtown. When we were informed it was "Gone With The Wind" we could not resist, and asked Sue & Bill to join us. Here is the outside of this historic theater.


In the main lobby, I'm looking up at the grand staircase. This place is exquisite and has been lovingly and authentically restored to its original grandeur of 1927!


Inside the theater room, I'm looking up at the side balcony hallways above us that look like box seats.


We arrived early to get good seats and while we were waiting, trivia about GWTW was being shown on the screen. What a great idea! Can you believe how beautiful this place is?
