JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! Little lady pushing her stroller cart. She's not homeless - she's probably just been shopping. Many elderly people walk with a stroller that allows them to sit on the front when they need to rest. Isn't that amazing? People seem to remain much more physically active here and longivity is common.

Looking across the local train track at the Kleenex / Scottie plant near Iwakuni. Those electrical wires overhead power the local train.

Laundry hanging on apartment balconies to dry.
