It's been a while since we've gone to Hikari, so we convinced Sandy to join us this morning. We left about 8:30 -- hoping to arrive before it gets too hot. It's a little over an hour's drive, but it's beautiful along the Seto Inland seacoast. Lots of boats out in the sea today.
All the boats, including motorboats have the little sail on the back. We don't know if it serves a purpose or is just a holdover from centuries past . . .
