Japan Adventure

The next morning, it's time to leave AZ, so we arose at 4 AM for the 2-hr drive to Vegas . . . Unfortunately, I woke up sick, apparently from our dinner, but because it would have cost me another $350 to change my ticket, and because Holly was singing later that night, I had to leave! Thanks to Heather's good friend Kelly for her Pepto tabs & by the time we got to Vegas, I was feeling much better . . .

See the pyramid? That's the Luxor, where we stayed when we went to Vegas 7 years ago with Sue & Bill and Mary Linda & Don. (What a GREAT trip -- it's when Sue & I got our tattoos, but that's another story . . . ) I know times are hard, but there's just something sad about digital advertisements being shown on the side of this fabulous building!

I'm on the plane now -- with time to spare, even with all my potty stops on the way! Thanks, Heather for printing my SW boarding pass. I was in the "A" group & found an aisle seat on Row 4 -- hooray!
