Back home, I gathered up all the goodies Stan received from his participation and winning. He said he also had the most fabulous bento lunch, he's ever had, but (sorry!) he didn't have his camera. This is a bell. Kinda looks like Stan, doesn't it?
We now have several items to add to our Christmas tree! And the fancy envelope held the yen inside. He said it was just like what the sumo wrestlers receive after a winning bout!
A Japanese friend recognized his picture and brought him the newspaper article from the local paper on Monday.
Third, First and Second place winners. The photographers loved it when Stan "twirled" his moustache!
