JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! Friday Night at the Fish Tank

This sign is at the intersection Americans call "Four Corners" which you can see is 400m outside the gate to MCAS -- only about 1/4 mile. It's so close that Stan & I decided to ride our bikes on this mild spring evening.

The Eneos gas station is also at this intersection. If you turn right, pass this station, and a small angled road, the restaurant's parking lot is next. It's on Hwy 188, very close to the road, so I cannot get a good picture of the front from here.

But it's easy to see why we call it Fish Tank. I don't know its real Japanese name.

Notice anything unusual about these fish?
