A beautiful tree in the Monzen area of base.


New sign at our favorite sushi restaurant, Akiyama on Hwy 188 where we had lunch. Guess some people still don't know that "outside the gate" almost all shops are on a "yen cash basis only."


I like this sign, also on the door. Something about sake & beer . . .

We watched as an old building was demolished & this new one went up during the past few months. It looks like a pachinko (gambling) parlor & we like the "welcome" sign over a door . . .
