Slow Food

Living in a society where fresh food is the norm has really spoiled us. Before we moved to Japan, I had almost forgotten how different & delicious really fresh foods taste -- like they did when I was a child! So, I'm relieved and thrilled to see that this movement is starting to take hold in the US. Most industrialized societies eat much healthier than Americans do! Fresh, organically grown foods (no dangerous pesticides, antibiotics or hormones!) may be more expensive to purchase, but isn't your family's health worth it? You probably all splurge on some brand-name items . . . remember the old saying "you get what you pay for"? Well, sure you do! So, why not "splurge" on healthy, fresh foods? Besides, it just tastes better! So, check this out & then think about it: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26378691/ Oh, be sure to scroll down beneath all the ads for the rest of this very interesting article.
