Japanese Chiropractor & March Snow in Iwakuni!

Probably from lack of exercise (due to the pool closing in mid-December), my back has really been giving me fits, which in turn prevented me from sleeping well, so I decided to find a chiropractor. (Of course there may be some stress involved with my bladder surgery "situation" that I'm trying to resolve.) Anyway, I asked my friend & nail tech Junko (say "June-ko") & she recommended her doctor. She told me he is very gentle -- no popping or pulling, just massage therapy. This sounded perfect to me! His office is very close outside the North Gate and I planned to ride my bike, but when I awoke this morning it was pouring rain, so Stan came home (he takes the car on rainy days) and drove me. No pictures, but it was the MOST wonderful massage I’ve ever had! Of course I’ve only had 4 previous ones in my whole life – one here at our gym on base, 2 in Thailand – one was horribly painful! - and one in China. But this one today was the best. I left feeling better and somewhat like a wet noodle. I like the idea of being massaged by a real doctor . . . I've already made an appointment for next week.
So by the time we got to the chiropractor, the rain had turned into little icy "grits" and by the time we got home an hour later, great big flakes. Don't know if it will stick -- it's not really that cold today. I think it's unusual in this part of Japan to have snow in March. Maybe it's "sympathetic snow" for what hit Alabama on Sunday. This is looking across the street over the bus stop.
