Yokosuna (Grand Champion) Hakuho takes down Ozeki (Champion) Kotomitsuki, so now there will have to be a playoff. Oh, goody!


This is the graceful bow dance always performed at the end, but we usually don't get to see this on TV, because of televised interviews . . .


After a few minutes' wait, it's time for the playoff match -- Hakuho & Sekiwake (next rank below champion) Ama are tied & only one of them can win this tournament!


Mongolian supporters display their flag. All the champions are from Mongolia these days . . .


It's a struggle & a great fight, but Hakuho is Grand Champion, and he prevails over Ama.
