JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! This cat looked a little & sounded a LOT like Sachi . . .

This is where I came out of the temple at the end of viewing the doll exhibit. It was fabulous, but there were no cameras allowed. Jusaburo Tsujimura was the artist & he's the most famous doll-maker in Japan. The dolls were dressed in exquisite authentic costumes, made from antique silk kimono fabric with amazing detail. Two women praying in the temple.

I'm putting some of the healing incense smoke on my bad knee -- never hurts to cover ALL your bases!
