I decided on the ebi furai (fried shrimp) with veggies & salad -- Delicious! I chose bread (which is always homemade & warm) instead of rice.


Fresh flowers & Japanese maple leaves adorn our table.


Oh, I LOVE how this Western potty has been installed over a traditional raised-step Japanese potty! What a great idea & my knees REALLY appreciate it . . .
