JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! I liked that the universal red & blue "bathroom" figures were shaped like fish on this sign.

Entrance to the marina restaurant inside the gift shop. We really want to find the oyster festival that we heard was going to be in this park today, so we take a pass.

I like this beautiful painted mural.

A map showing the area where we are. According to the brochure, there are 208 isles near the Port of Sasebo.

This shows the route of our boat ride. See the place where we turned around? It was truly awesome!
