Friday Lunch - Downtown Iwakuni

It's a cloudy Autumn day and Ingrid & I are approaching the front gate to head downtown.


The street leaving the base is busy at lunchtime.


I'm waiting in the car while Ingrid drops off some cleaning. I thought the bent smokestack made an interesting picture . . .

A couple of weeks ago, we walked through the train tunnel (this is the entrance), and I noticed a new restaurant, so Ingrid & I are going to try it today.
