Facing the river & buildings beyond, Nancy & I were talking about how humbling it is to sit here & gaze upon the ONLY building (just a shell now with the domed top) -- still standing AFTER the atomic bomb hit Hiroshima. It's one of those things you read about, but never, in your wildest dreams, think you will ever see in person . . .
