Japan Adventure

We're settled in our room & have decided to do some touring. We're riding down a narrow street in a taxi on our way to the dock. We're taking a boat ride that leaves every hour on the hour.


Inside the boat cruise station, we see this beautiful map of the area.


This map shows that Obama is surrounded by mountains & sea, and disected by 3 rivers. We're taking the Sotomo Scenic Cruise today, which is shown at the bottom of this map. The lighter areas show the famous Sotomo rock formations, described as "oddly shaped rocks, rock gate and caves eroded by the powerful waves of the Sea of Japan."
