We rode back on the shin from Fukuoka on 1/1 with Pam & Jake. The sun shining through Pam's hair as she looks out at the snow outside the window.

As we drive through Iwakuni on New Year's Day, there's not much traffic, but lots of folks walking to the shrines to pray.
