Interesting statue on Hoover Dam. Maybe the next time we're out this way, the new bypass road will be finished. It will save lots of time for those who are not stopping to tour the dam.

Can't believe we've been in AZ for two weeks & it's time to leave. (Thanks Heather & Kipp for a great visit!) Instead of flying back via Great Lakes Airlines from Kingman to Phoenix (way too bumpy & scary!) and then on to Birmingham, we've opted to join Holly, Sherri & David on their drive back to the Las Vegas airport, where we've arranged to fly SW directly to Birmingham. Whew!
