Lots of folks enjoying this beautiful area today.
Qinian Hall, considered the finest temple in Beijing. First built in 1420, and restored in 1889 after a lightening strike, this is where the emperor prayed for a good harvest. The trees used for the Dragon Fountain pillars were imported from Oregon. The roof was built without nails or cement & there are more than 50,000 roof tiles.
