Sunday Afternoon on Miyajima Island

It's a beautiful sunny Sunday, so we're on our bikes, heading for the local train station in downtown Iwakuni. We're finally going to Miyajima Island for oysters. We've been trying to go since Thanksgiving, but either weather or illness has kept us away. Although we've been there several times, we never tire of the beautiful sights and the delicious oysters this time of year!












As we cross the bridge into downtown, there are lots of ducks enjoying the high tide and sunshine as well.
