Inside our cabin. There's lots of beautiful wood everywhere. Looking across the table into the kitchen & bath area. On top of the small fridge is a rice cooker. See the broom at the end of the bunk bed? Just beyond is the lower concrete entry area, with a different broom to use there.

Looking toward the windows, we see there's no other furniture in this cabin. Since shoes are taken off just inside the door, Japanese would sit on the floor. Instead, I drag chairs from the table over to the window to enjoy the view. Notice the heater up high on the wall? We never could get it to work and we nearly froze to death in our sleep . . . thank goodness for all the cozy bedding!
