This plaque explains the history of the stone wall. It was built Chinese-style and surrounds the school site, over 837 yards long. In cross-section, it is horeshoe-shaped, and 6 feet 7 inches both in height and width. I'm not sure how old this wall is, but the school was completed in 1670. It is said it is so well built, that no weed has ever grown in between the stones.
