We are given a demonstration of how the oysters are artificially implanted to produce the perfect cultured pearls that Japan is so famous for. Interestingly, to substitute for the grain of sand that might naturally implant inside an oyster, this company use a very small part of a shell imported from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Posted by Picasa
