JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! This is the dining room. Although this picture is dark, I thought you might enjoy seeing the view we have though the patio windows. In the foreground is a lovely warehouse that is being painstakingly renovated. I especially enjoy watching all the heavy machinery rumbling in and out all day. Beyond that is the town of Iwakuni. And just before your eyes find the distant mountains, don't ignore the lovely red and white smoke stacks of the local paperr mills that emit lovely white vapor 24 hours a day. In all that sarcasm (you did get the sarcasm, huh, didn't you?) I must admit that you can never smell the mills as you do in Alabama and Florida.  Posted by Hello
