Oh, here we are!

We left the main road & took off on a narrow street along the railroad track. It's amazing what you can find. Firetruck manhole cover? 

Here comes a local . . . 

and there goes a local. 

On a narrow backroad along the train track, we smelled incense burning, and came across this little beautiful temple 

with a pagoda next door. 

And a temple bell to awaken the gods. There were lots of people & cars here on Sunday afternoon.

We stopped our bikes along the railroad track to admire this garden.

It's a local trolley with a giant koi painted on the side.

A little "bridge" was created over this canal to hold pots of flowers. Japanese love to garden wherever they can find or make a place. 

Oh, goody! I see a potty stop coming up...

Inside the Seben-Eleben. Believe it or not, these are VERY nice, clean (and safe!) stores in Japan and the food is always great & fresh!
